Chicago’s Lakefront Trail is 18.5 miles of bicycle and pedestrian path along Lake Michigan stretching all the way from the south to north side of the city. The lakefront trail is full of amazing views, beaches and parks. It also connects you to the best attractions in the city and to Chicago’s diversified neighborhoods.
The north trail goes for about 8.5 miles starting from Millennium Park or Navy Pier.
Some points of interests along the way:
Round trip is 16 miles but you don’t have to ride the entire trail in one day. A good 2 hours round trip is to Lincoln Park Zoo and back.
