FAQ

Reservations are recommended for all tours  Reservations are made through our website.

Reservations are also recommended for rentals but we do accept walkups. 

We accommodate private group tours for conventions, celebrations, field trips, camps and any occasion. 

To book a group tour for 10 people or more please contact us for a quote. 

If you would like to reschedule your reservation, you may do so at any time based on availability. 

If you cancel up to 72 hours prior to the rental/tour reservation start time and would like a refund we will issue a refund less a 10% service fee with-in 30 days of request. No refunds are issued for reservations cancelled with less than 72 hours notice (only Bike and Roll credit).

Cancelations by Bike & Roll

We reserve the right to cancel any rental/tour for weather or other reasons. If the rental/tour is cancelled, and you are unable to reschedule, we will issue a full refund. If the weather is questionable, please call one to two hours prior to the start time to confirm status.

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your tour time. Participants arriving after the tour departure time risk forfeiture of their tour seats.

In using this website, reserving products/services, purchasing products/services, and providing information, you are deemed to have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions:

Rental and Guided Tour Terms

  • Participants must read and sign the Release from Liability Agreement prior to rental/tour.
  • A credit card and/or valid driver license or passport is required for rental deposit.
  • Helmets and locks are provided for free with rental. Helmets are recommended for all riders.
  • Participants under the age of 18 must wear a helmet!
  • Participants must be in good health, and able to operate, control and balance the equipment, at time of rental. Please consult your physician.
  • Baby participants must be at least 1 year old and be able to hold their head and upper body in an upward position and be able to wear a helmet.
  • Participants are responsible for the rental equipment, from the time the equipment is rented until the time it is returned, including damage and theft of rental equipment.
  • Rental equipment is due back on the date/time printed on the Rental Receipt.
  • Late returns are subject to overtime charges and late fees.
    Participants must inform Company if the equipment is damaged or not working properly
  • Participants must comply with all traffic laws and ride with caution

Deposits, Payment, Reservations, and Refund Policy

  • We accept all major credit cards and cash for payment
  • Full payment is required to make a segway tour or bicycle tour reservation
  • Failure to arrive at tour departure location prior to scheduled time without advance notification (no-show) results in forfeiture of payment
  • Failure to cancel / reschedule tour reservation(s) at least 72 hours in advance results in forfeiture of payment
  • All pre-payments for rentals and/or tours are final and non-refundable, no credit on early returns! No Refunds!
  • Late returns are subject to additional charges and late fees
  • Non-returns or missing parts are subject to costs for replacement of equipment/parts
  • Damaged equipment are subject to repair costs
  •  In the event of rain you may re-schedule your reservation or receive a store credit
  • To cancel a reservation and receive a store credit or refund you must submit a written request via email 72 hours prior to reservation date/time. Refunds may take up to 30 days from cancelation date/time.

We offer a wide selection of rental equipment accommodating all ages and sizes. A helmet and lock are included with each rental.

You may rent at one location and drop off at another, during business hours, for no extra fee. See Locations

The quadcrcles and electric bikes must return to original rental location.

Bike & Roll is not responsible for flat tires and we do not issue refunds for flats. However, we are happy to swap the bike for you. 

If you purchase the damage & Theft Waiver at time of rental we will send someone to you to swap the bike with-in 30 to 60 minutes from notification during business hours and only with-in 10 miles of rental location. 

If you did not purchase the Damage & Theft Waiver at time of rental we recommend you call an Uber/Lyft to bring you back and we will swap the bike for you. 

The “Equipment Damage & Theft Waiver” cost $5 per pedal bike per day and $10 per electric bike per day. You must purchase the Waiver prior to rental start time and prior to taking the equipment out in order for it to go into effect. 

The Waiver will cover one hundred   percent (100%) of Equipment damages.

In the event of theft, the Participants will be charged the full retail value of the Equipment immediately and will be reimbursed within thirty (30) days of the theft date for the same retail value paid less twenty five percent (25%) of the value of the equipment, provided that the Participants files a police report promptly. 

We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes prior to tour start time. 

All Groupons must reserve online. 

We accept valid Go City passes. The Go City pass is good for 2 hour rental of our City bike. You may upgrade to other bikes, such as comfort, fitness, electric, tandems, and kids equipment, at time of rental by applying the Go City towards the upgrade, the value is $10 per Go City Pass. 

Go City are accepted on a first-come-first-served basics. During weekends and holidays we do sell out and there may be delays in fulfilling your reservation. 

We offer road and fitness bikes for participants in the Chicago and Miami Triathlons. You can reserve the bikes online 90 days prior to the event. 

We typically refresh our fleet every few years and put the older fleet on sale in the fall and spring. All bikes sold are well maintained and in good working condition. All sales are “as is”. 

Please read carefully before using this site. This site is owned and operated by Bike Chicago Inc. and Bike and Roll Miami LLC, DBA Bike and Roll together with its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively “We”, “Us” or “Our”). Personal data is collected when users provide information to Us, for example in reserving bike rental/tour, or joining our riders club, electronic newsletters, or other membership services, group inquiries, employment applications, answering surveys, purchasing items from Us, registering for events, or purchasing tickets, and/or registering for contests and other promotional opportunities provided by Us. When you register or request information on this site, We generally need you to provide your name, e-mail address, mailing address, day phone number and credit card information (only when making a reservation), as well as create a username and password. In addition, if you send Us personal correspondence, such as e-mails or letters, We may collect such information into a file specific to you.

Aggregated Information and Usage Information

Aggregate information, such as which page users access and information volunteered by users, such as survey information and/or site registration information, is collected through various methods. In the course of using Our site, We also automatically track certain information about you. This information includes the URL that you just came from, which URL you next go to, what browser you are Using, and your IP address. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you’re surfing the web. Web servers, the computers that “serve up” web pages, automatically identify your computer by its IP address, and when you request a page from Us, Our servers log your IP address. We do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, so although your session will be logged, you will remain anonymous to Us.

We may use your e-mail address and, in rare situations, your mailing address or phone number, to contact you regarding customer service issues or billing matters. Personal and aggregated information is also used to: improve the content of the Store; perform system administration activities; customize the content and/or layout of the Store for each individual user; and notify users about updates to the Store or promotional offers or opportunities that We believe will be of interest to you. We will always try to provide you with an opportunity to decline this service when such information is requested from you online.
