Cycling to and through Golden Gate Park is the best way to enjoy the park and see it all!

From the Bike & Roll shop it only takes about 30 to 45 minutes to ride to the Park. Allow for another 2-3 hours of sightseeing time once you arrive to Golden Gate Park.

Starting at Fisherman’s Wharf, biking along the waterfront offers stunning views of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. Following the scenic path through Crissy Field and past the Presidio, you’ll climb into the lush greenery of Golden Gate Park, where towering trees and winding trails provide a refreshing ride. As you weave through the park’s open meadows and past iconic spots like the de Young Museum and Stow Lake, the salty ocean breeze grows stronger. Finally, the ride opens up to the vast expanse of Ocean Beach, where waves crash against the shore, marking the perfect end to a breathtaking journey.
